We are committed to better serve our customers and will do everything to make sure your returns and refunds are handled in a fair manner. To ensure a timely refund to your account, please return the item immediately. Please make sure that place the unused item is in its original (delivered) condition and the Return Form attached to the bottom of your packing slip is filled in correctly.

Damages and Lost in Transit-UPS shipments
In case of a damage please call ups on 1-800-pick-ups immediately and notify Tri-State Battery within 24 hours so that a claim can be made. Refused package or return shipping charges will be charged to your account. See this link for UPS' claim policies.

Please note USPS Priority and USPS Parcel Post Services are not insured for lost or Damage. Shipment by these services is at the customer risk.
Damaged Caused by Weather Conditions
We are not responsible for damage caused by inclement weather condition. If you are concerned about weather conditions you should arrange appropriate shipping. (charged at cost)
1) UPS offers a full tracking service.
All shortages and order problems must be notified to Tri-State Battery within 24 hours. No reimbursement will be made after 48 hours.
Please refer to the UPS web site for delivery ground day to your area. Please note UPS Service levels refer to business days not calendar days.
Please Note that for incorrectly addressed packages UPS levies a $5 address adjustment. If this caused by your error we will apply that charge to your account. Please proof-read your order before finalizing.
To cancel your order please send an email quoting your order reference and reason for canceling to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 800-852-9700. Please note that orders can NOT be canceled after they have been shipped.
Please allow extra time for delivery during holidays. If there is an unusual delay in filling an order, we will notify you by e-mail. Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (i.e. UPS errors, inclement weather) will not warrant a refund of shipping charges. Orders received on weekends and holidays will be processed on the next business day.

New UPS Budget Rates to Zip Codes outside the 48 contiguous states may take up to several weeks for deliver. Tracking information will usually be emailed to customer's email address on record the same day the order ships. Orders drop-shipped from manufacturer's warehouses will not receive a tracking number.
No returns will be accepted without RMA (return merchandise authorization) custom and special orders are non-returnable. RMA may be obtained by email. Contact us for return merchandise via RMA@TRISTATEBATTERY.COM or phone 800-852-9700. Returns must be made within 20 days of purchase.
WRONG, DEFECTIVE or DAMAGED ITEMS
If wrong, defective or damaged merchandise is received, please notify TRISTATEBATTERY.COM immediately. This is a rare situation and TRISTATEBATTERY.COM will make arrangements to solve the problem at once. TRISTATEBATTERY.COM will take full responsibility for solving the problem with the merchandise if we are in error. Products returned for credit or refund must be returned in unopened original manufacturer packaging and in original condition; customer will be responsible for return shipping charges and insurance. Merchandise returned for refund will be charged a 15% handling and restocking fee which will be deducted from the purchase amount.
